Outdoor Network utilizes Cisco Duo for multifactor authentication which will be present on most if not all single sign-ons.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a way to make sure it’s really you when you log in. Instead of just typing a password, you confirm your identity using two or more methods—like a code sent to your phone, a fingerprint scan, or a security app. This extra step keeps hackers out, stopping things like viruses, phishing scams, and ransomware before they can hit your data.
The first time you log into your email, you will be guided on setting up Duo. You can download the DUO app during this process for the best user experience. You can also choose to receive a phone call in place of a DUO prompt.
